Anne trained in arts and crafts as a student before becoming a primary school teacher, using her skills in art to inspire children in many different subjects.
Following very early retirement she joined different art groups and clubs to gain much more experience and knowledge of art.
She enjoys using different technique and media alongside the traditional methods of painting.
Her work often encompasses curving lines that flow easily into twisting shapes that are pleasing to the eye.
Anne feels very strongly that meeting people, chatting and sometimes advising are important aspects of such events as The Belper Arts Trail showing it to be a very worthwhile community event
